Being bored or feeling tedious is something everyone experiences, but when the Boring period prolongs and turns into laziness, and making one sluggish which reduces productivity and results in feeling gloomy. But we should not let that boredom turn into this, and shall overcome it. Boredom gives everyone two opportunities i.e Either you can hold on to that dullness and complain about it or make it the animating force to explore and get out of it.

So here are 3 implied ways to get rid of Boredom:-

1)Be 100%- So whenever you feel monotonous don’t hold on to that thought. Whatever you are doing, Do it, mindfully this way your brain will not wander around those dull feelings. Savor the moments even those of boredom, Being in present will increase your appreciation and relaxation in them. Remember the 100% rule of Jack Canfield, “99% is a bitch, 100% is a breeze”.This will increase the efficiency of whatever work you are doing and in turn make you feel good about the same.

2) Keep the phone away!

Nowadays people have built up this habit of instantly picking their phones whenever they get free even for few seconds. This has become a global issue now. Wait, gaze, give your neurons some time to think of some creative activity for the present. Taking up the phone will not allow your brain to find some other activity. But if you start observing your surrounding you would definitely find some captivating activity or person or anything. In times of feeling sluggish Mediation and breath works have really helped me to revive my lively energetic and creative spirit.

3) Explore or Learn!

Learn some new skills or activities which you feel riveting or you can do the opposite, you can learn something new which does not tickle your fancy. Engaging in activities you haven’t before opens the doors to new people, new experiences, and exploring the new in you. Take interest in things happening around you (it does not mean indulging in the toxicity of others' lives ) challenge your exceptions, meet new people things would start getting fascinating.
